“We are our own worst critics,” Sometimes we are too harsh on ourselves.
Think about it. Did you become sensitive to every single calorie you had? Did you criticize your body when you looked into the mirror? Did you become upset when only your size is out of stock? Girls, you give yourself more criticism than you can ever imagine. So do I, but from now on, I want to change that.
Social media builds up the perfect body image that influences people’s beauty standards. The feeling of missing out is creating anxiety for so many women. There are more and more debates over the topic “What size models should be?” in recent years. Some people are angry with these so-called “size 0” models, and some people are taunting the “oversize” model. Honestly, what’s the matter? Each individual is allowed to have their own opinion, and there is no absolute right or wrong. Just as WE - MAGIC Bodyfashion believes:
NoBody is better than the other It’s all about perspective #FOREVERYONE

Have you never tried Bodysuit before? And you don’t understand why people wear bodysuits? No problem, Let’s now talk about it.
Do you know the history of shapewear?
The ancient Roman women wore chest-binders to minimize their bosoms. This is because they believed that people believe large chests are unattractive. People prefer women with a small bust and large hips. In the Middle Ages, the medieval shapewear was more like tight smocks. An interesting fact is that not only women wore them, but also men. During the Victorian Era, shapewear was named Whalebone corsets; it helped women to break their ribs in order to achieve the so-called “wasp waist” look. This caused significant damage to women’s health. These toxic beauty standards were continued for many years. Sadly no one really tried to change anything.
However, in WWI, everything changed. Since the Military needed Metal, the US War Industries Board pleaded with American women to give up their corsets. Since then, the meaning of shapewear changed.
By the end of the 1960s, the girdle was mostly gone. The women’s liberation movement did more than burn bras; it has also attacked constrictive undergarments. In the 1968 Miss America Protest, women threw girdles into the “Freedom Trash Can,” which declared girdles a symptom of female oppression.
Today, shapewear is no longer a manipulation of bodies and a catastrophe of women’s health. For us, shapewear is a choice of comfort and a feel of ease and comfort. MAGIC Bodyfashion wants the world to know that every woman deserves to be treated well, and that no one and nothing should change that perspective. Also, no one understands you better than yourself. You should know, our ForEveryone collection is there for you and supports your body decisions.
